Know the last date for submitting life certificate according to your age

For those below 80 years of age, Jeevan Pramaan Patra can be submitted between 1st and 30th November. Super Senior Citizens i.e. those aged 80 years and above have been allowed to submit their Jeevan Pramaan Patra from 1st October with the same last date of 30th November. Note that in the year 2019, the Central Government directed the banks to allow senior citizens to submit their Jeevan Pramaan Patra from 1st October every year instead of November.

Pensioners can authenticate their identity by providing proof of life and using biometric techniques including face, fingerprint and iris recognition through Aadhaar Face RD App.

How to get a life certificate online?

Pensioners and family pensioners can submit their life certificate using the methods mentioned here.

  • Make sure that your Aadhaar number is updated with the pension disbursing authority of the bank or post office.
  • Install ‘AADFaceRD’ and ‘Jeevan Pramaan Face App’ from Google Play Store.
  • Fill in the necessary information about the pensioner.
  • After taking the photo, submit the information.
  • The registered mobile number will send an SMS with a link to download the Life Certificate.

What will happen if the last date for submission of life certificate is missed?

If pensioners are unable to submit their life certificate by the last date, then their pension will be stopped from the next month. However, pension payment will resume after the life certificate is submitted.
