Pune: To prevent land fraud by farmers, the land of about 1 crore farmers in the state will now be linked to the Aadhaar number of the respective land owners.

After PAN card, bank account, mobile number, gas connection, now Aadhaar is also being linked to Satbara Utara. Therefore, land fraud of farmers will stop.

Various schemes are run by the government for farmers. Aadhar linking work is going on so that farmers get the benefit of all these schemes and the amount of the concerned scheme is deposited directly in the bank account of the farmers. This Aadhar connection is being done by Talathis from house to house. Meanwhile, those who take illegal advantage of the schemes for farmers are also going to be punished.

Namo Kisan Samman Yojana for farmers

The farm information along with the Aadhaar number will be linked to the e-KYC of Namo Kisan Samman Yojana. Therefore, this scheme will deprive the same farmer from different villages or districts of assistance. Farmers who are not getting the benefit of Samman Yojana will also get the benefit. With the real time data of farmers, it will be easy for the government to get information about the farmer, the farm in his name, the crop grown in it, etc.

Farmers will have to enter their Aadhaar number. Pune’s Agriculture Extension Director Vinay Kumar Awate said that only after this, farmers will get the benefit of cotton and soybean scheme.
