The online registration process has started in Ara, Sheikhpura of Bihar, Fatuha of Patna and Kesaria of Motihari.
Actually, the rules of registry have been changed in Bihar. Now this entire process has been made paperless. Like other things, registry has also been made online. In such a situation, people can now buy and sell land without any hassle.
Online process will save time
From April 1, 2025, the paperless registry process will start in all 137 registry offices of the state. This will make the registry process simple and transparent across the state. Along with this, it will help in curbing fraud. After this change in the state, people will not have to visit the registry offices. The whole process will be online. Which will save time. Along with this, the common man will get relief. People will get a chance to register their land in a simple way. Not only this, this new change will also end the worry of unemployment of scribes and stamp vendors. Instead of manual work, they will now be able to work online. This will also maintain their livelihood and they will become a part of the digital process.
Online registry will reduce corruption
It is being said that this step of the government will bring transparency in government offices. Along with this, it will help in reducing corruption.
The area will decrease immediately
The new system will have many benefits. This will reduce the seller’s land immediately. The seller’s share of land will be reduced with the registry. The ownership deed will be prepared in the name of the buyer. The new system will stop fraud. The seller will not be able to sell the same land to someone else again. Also, cases related to land disputes will reduce.
