‘This is not a barber, it is the story of today’s India’: Rahul

Rahul Gandhi shared the video on his social media handle X and said that the four words of barber Ajit ‘nothing is left’ tell the story of every hard working poor and middle class person in today’s India.

Rahul further said that these four words of Ajit Bhai and his tears tell the story of every hard-working poor and middle class person of today’s India. From barber to cobbler, potter to carpenter – decreasing income and rising inflation have taken away their shops, houses and even their dreams of self-respect.

Rahul Gandhi, while targeting the central government in his post, also said that today there is a need for modern solutions and new schemes, which will increase income and bring savings back to the homes. The Congress leader further said that a society where talent gets its due and every step of hard work takes you to the ladder of success, is what we need.

Rahul was seen getting a shave in the video

In the video shared by the opposition leader, Rahul is seen sitting on a chair while a barber named Ajit is seen shaving his beard. Ajit is telling his story to Rahul. Ajit told Rahul how he works all day to save some money at the end of the day, but nothing is left.
At the end of the video, the barber said that he felt happy and satisfied after sharing his story with Rahul. Congress also posted the video of the conversation on its X handle. The party said on X, “Today, Jananayak Rahul Gandhi got a shave at Ajit’s shop in Delhi and understood the struggles of his life.”
