Kisan Credit Card Limit: In Budget 2025, the Modi government has given a big relief to crores of farmers of the country. The government has increased the limit of Kisan Credit Card. Now this limit has been increased from Rs 3 lakh to Rs 5 lakh.
In the budget, the government has also made many other big announcements regarding farmers. These include Dhan Dhanya Krishi Yojana, help to 1.7 crore farmers through agriculture program, agriculture scheme to cover 100 districts with low productivity.
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that the goal of the National Mission for Edible Oil and Seeds is to bring self-sufficiency in this sector. Under this, we will start a 6-year mission to become self-sufficient in pulses. – Central agencies will purchase tur, urad, lentils in the next 4 years. Makhana Board will be formed in Bihar to improve processing, value addition.
In the budget, the government said that agricultural district programs will be developed on the lines of the aspiring district program. Crop diversification, irrigation facilities, availability of loans will help 1.7 crore farmers. This scheme will adopt crop diversification, increase storage after harvesting. This will help 1.7 crore farmers.
