Reliance Jio, one of the country’s largest telecom companies, has launched its True 5G service in 11 cities on Wednesday, 28 December. These cities include Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, besides Nashik, Aurangabad, Chandigarh, Mohali, Trivandrum, Mysore, Panchkula, Zirakpur, Kharar and Derabassi.
Jio 5G Service: Reliance Jio, one of the country’s largest telecom companies, has launched its True 5G service in 11 cities on Wednesday, 28 December. These cities include Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, besides Nashik, Aurangabad, Chandigarh, Mohali, Trivandrum, Mysore, Panchkula, Zirakpur, Kharar and Derabassi. Jio users living in these cities will now get unlimited data at speeds above 1 Gbps without any extra charges.
According to jio, all these 11 cities are important tourist destinations of the country as well as major education centers. After the launch of 5G in these cities, users will now get excellent and fast network as well as many opportunities for development in artificial intelligence, gaming, healthcare, agriculture, IT, e-governance, education, automation, and SME sectors.
5G was launched in Ujjain a few days ago:
Earlier, Jio had launched True 5G service in Madhya Pradesh. This service was launched by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan from Mahakal Lok in Ujjain. Let us tell you that before Madhya Pradesh, Reliance Jio launched its Jio True 5G service on 25 November in 33 district headquarters of Gujarat. Apart from this, this service has already been launched in metro cities like Pune, Delhi.
14.14 lakh new users added to Jio in October According to TRAI, Reliance Jio has added 14.14 lakh new users in the month of October. After this, the number of users of Jio network has increased to 42.13 crore. On the other hand, Bharti Airtel has also added 8.5 lakh new users to its network in October. After this, the number of users of Airtel has reached 36.50 crore.
Jio-Airtel’s market share also increased:
Reliance Jio’s market share in the telecom market has increased from 36.66% to 36.85%. At the same time, the market share of Airtel is also increasing and it has increased from 31.80% to 31.92%. At the same time, the market share of Vodafone-Idea has decreased from 21.75% in October to 21.48% as compared to September.
