Jammu-Srinagar Vande Bharat ticket price: The train which was awaited for a long time has finally had its trial run. We are talking about the Vande Bharat Express running between Jammu and Srinagar which is ready to run on the tracks.
This train journey which will start under the Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Rail Link (USBRL) project will provide a world-class travel experience. This will be the third Vande Bharat train of this region to be operated by the Northern Railway Zone. Earlier, two Vande Bharat trains run from Delhi to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra (SVDK).
Jammu-Srinagar Vande Bharat: Fare, Travel Time and Route
Route and launch details The ultra-modern train is painted in orange and grey colour. The train will run between Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra and Srinagar. Commercial services are expected to begin in February 2025. According to a report in Economic Times, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to flag off the first train in the first week of February. The date and time have not been decided by the Railway Board yet.
Train Timings
With the launch of Vande Bharat Express, a new travel experience is expected in Kashmir. The journey will be great with the modern facilities available in the train and less travel time. This train will cover a distance of 150 km in just two and a half hours. Check train schedule:

Arrival in Srinagar: 11:20 am
Return from Srinagar: 12:45
Arrival at SVDK (Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra): 3:55 PM

Jammu-Srinagar Vande Bharat Express Fare: Jammu-Srinagar Vande Bharat Ticket Price
The final fare of Jammu-Srinagar Vande Bharat Express has not been announced yet. The fare of AC chair car is expected to be Rs 1500 to 1600 and the ticket of executive chair car is expected to be Rs 2200-2500. The journey in the valleys of Kashmir with this luxury train is expected to be beautiful.
Let us tell you that with the running of this new train, connectivity between Jammu and Srinagar is expected to be better.
