The Income Tax Department has released a new mobile app for the convenience of taxpayers. Its name is AIS App (AIS). In this, information about every transaction done by the income tax payers throughout the year will be available.
With its help, it will be easier to file Income Tax Return (ITR). Information on 46 types of transactions including total annual income, investment, total expenditure, TDS, tax payment or dues and refunds will be available on the app.
To provide relief to taxpayers, the department had introduced Annual Information Report (AIS) last year. Under this, 46 types of transactions done by the taxpayer are included in this report.
