There is good news for the passengers traveling by aeroplane. In fact, the journey from Mangaluru in Karnataka to the country’s capital New Delhi has become easier. The country’s largest airline IndiGo has started daily flight service from Mangaluru to New Delhi.
The airline said in a statement on Saturday that its flight on the Delhi-Mangaluru route has started from Friday. 147 passengers traveled in this first flight from Mangaluru to Delhi. This flight will leave from New Delhi daily at 2.55 pm. At the same time, the flight will leave from Mangaluru to Delhi at 6.35 pm.
Along with this, the airline said that its flight from Mangaluru to Kolkata will operate only on Sundays due to ongoing repair works at the airport.
It is noteworthy that Indigo and public sector Coimbatore airport have been included in the top-20 punctual airlines and airports globally. According to the report of aviation sector company OAG, Indigo is ranked 15th in terms of punctuality in 2022, while Coimbatore airport got 13th position.
Indigo is ranked 15th among the 20 most punctual airlines in 2022 globally. The airline was ranked 54th in 2019. The list is topped by Garuda Indonesia, followed by Saffire and Eurowings at the second and third positions respectively.
