Also, direct flight from New Delhi to Ayodhya has been started. This flight will fly from New Delhi to Ayodhya daily. Through this flight, Ram devotees will reach Ayodhya Dham in just 1 hour 20 minutes.

Flight number 6E 2128 from New Delhi to Ayodhya will take off from January 6, 2024 at 12 noon. It will reach Ayodhya at 1.15 pm. In return, flight number 6E 2129 will depart from Ayodhya at 1.45 pm. It will reach New Delhi at 3 pm. After this, flight number 6E 2128 will depart from Delhi at 11.55 am daily from January 10. It will reach Ayodhya at 1.15 pm. Whereas, flight number 6E 2129 will depart from Ayodhya at 1.45 pm and reach Delhi at 3 pm.

The first phase of the state-of-the-art airport at Maharishi Valmika International Airport has been built at a cost of over Rs 1,450 crore. The airport terminal building will have an area of 6,500 square meters, which will serve approximately 10 lakh passengers annually. The facade of the terminal building reflects the architecture of the under-construction Shri Ram Temple in Ayodhya. The terminal building of Ayodhya Airport is equipped with various stability facilities.
