Gorakhpur. There is good news for those traveling by train during the festive season. In view of the increasing number of passengers, the Railways has announced special train services from Gorakhpur to Jodhpur and Guwahati.
These festival special trains will run from October 2 to December 1, which will give passengers a comfortable and convenient journey.
Special train will run between Gorakhpur and Jodhpur
Train number 04829/04830 running between Gorakhpur and Jodhpur – Weekly train will depart from Jodhpur every Thursday and return from Gorakhpur on Friday. Departure from Jodhpur will be at 4:15 pm every Thursday. At the same time, the arrival time in Gorakhpur is 8:50 pm the next day. In the return journey, the train will leave from Gorakhpur every Friday at 11:25 pm and the arrival time in Jodhpur will be 4:00 am on Sunday. This train will pass through Delhi, Lucknow, Ayodhya, Moradabad and many major stations. The train will have a total of 20 coaches. Which will include AC, sleeper, and general class coaches.
Special train between Guwahati and Gorakhpur
The second special train is being run by the Railways between Guwahati and Gorakhpur. Train number- 05635/05636 Shri Ganganagar-Guwahati-Shri Ganganagar Special Train will depart from Guwahati every Wednesday from 2 October to 27 November. This train will run on an important route connecting the passengers of the Northeast to Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan. It will depart from Guwahati every Wednesday at 6:15 pm. The arrival time at Gorakhpur is 7:40 pm the next day. On the return journey, this train will depart from Sri Ganganagar every Sunday and reach Guwahati on Tuesday.
Coming home will become easier during the festive season
Both trains will be fully equipped. Gorakhpur to Jodhpur special train will have 1 coach of AC 2 tier, 4 coaches of AC 3 tier, 11 sleeper and 2 coaches of general class. Apart from this, 2 SLRD coaches will also be installed in the train. This step of the railways has been taken to facilitate the journey of the passengers during the festive season. These special trains will provide great relief to the passengers of Gorakhpur and nearby areas, who are often troubled due to crowd in trains during festivals. Ticket booking of these special trains will be done on first come, first serve basis and passengers can book tickets from the official website of the railways or reservation centers.
