New Delhi. Vande Bharat Express has become people’s favourite train. Except for a few, most of them have better occupancy rates. But among these, there are five Vande Bharats in which there is the most rush.

The occupancy rate reaches 200 percent. To travel in these, passengers have to make reservations well in advance. Which are these five Vande Bharats and on which routes do they run? Let’s find out-

At present, 52 Vande Bharat trains are being operated. Vande Bharat Express is running in all the states of the country (except the northeastern states). The Vande Bharat with the highest occupancy among these is going to run between Mangaluru-Thiruvananthapuram. Its occupancy rate is around 203 percent.

More than 100 percent occupancy means that the seat got vacant in the middle of the journey and another passenger sat down. At the same time, Thiruvananthapuram-Kasaragod Vande Bharat is at second place. Its occupancy rate is 171 percent. That is, the top two Vande Bharats are going to run in South India.

After this, Delhi Varanasi Vandebharat is at number three, its occupancy rate is 124 percent. This train is the most special because this is the first Vandebharat of the country. After this, the series of running semi-speed trains in the country has started. At number four is Chennai-Tirunelveli Vandebharat running in the south, its occupancy rate is 123 percent. At number five is Delhi-Katra Vandebharat with 113 percent occupancy rate.

The fastest running Vandebharat

The fastest Vande Bharat Express among all is Delhi-Bhopal, which runs at a speed of 160 kmph. Its speed can be estimated from the fact that it is almost half the speed of an airplane during take-off and landing. The speed of an airplane during take-off and landing is 250 to 300 kmph. However, the entire journey is not at a speed of 160 kmph. The maximum speed of the train from Tughlakabad in Delhi to Agra is 160 kmph.
