The name of this non-stop train is Trivandrum-Nizamuddin Rajdhani Express (Trivandrum- Nizamuddin Rajdhani Express). This train starts from Hazrat Nizamuddin railway station in the capital Delhi and goes to Trivandrum, the capital of Kerala. During this, it covers a distance of about 2845 km in about half a dozen states and reaches its destination in 42 hours. This train stops at very few stations on the way.

528 km non-stop race

The interesting thing is that the distance from Kota in Rajasthan to Vadodara in Gujarat is 528 km. The distance this train covers while running at super speed non-stop. It takes only 6.5 hours to cover such a long distance. This is India’s longest non-stop train running for such a long time without any stoppage. On the other hand, Howrah-Amritsar Express is the most frequent train running at 115 stations.

Train runs 3 days a week

Trivandrum- Nizamuddin Rajdhani Express train (Trivandrum- Nizamuddin Rajdhani Express) comes under Northern Railway. It started on 3 July 1993. This train runs from Delhi on Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday. While from Trivandrum it runs on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. During this time it covers Kerala, Karnataka, Goa, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Haryana and Delhi.

There are total 21 coaches in the train

This train (Trivandrum- Nizamuddin Rajdhani Express) has 2 AC First Class, 5 AC 2 Tier, 11 AC 3 Tier, 1 Pantry Car and 2 Luggage Cum Generator coaches. Thus there are 21 coaches in the whole train in total. Whereas till 1995 it used to have only 11 coaches. Chennai Rajdhani Express, Secunderabad Rajdhani, Madgaon Rajdhani and Bangalore Rajdhani Express also pass through the route through which this train passes.
