Indian Railways: If you are planning to go home during Diwali and Chhath, then you do not need to worry about tickets. Actually, the Railways has announced to run Vande Bharat and Tejas Festival Special trains between Patna and New Delhi. Let’s know the complete schedule.
Indian Railways: Nowadays, most people stay away from their homes for jobs and are able to go home only on festivals or special occasions. In such a situation, many times people are not able to get train tickets to go home during Diwali-Chhath or their tickets remain waiting. In view of the huge demand of passengers, Indian Railways has made special arrangements this time. In fact, in view of the crowd of people going home during Diwali-Chhath, the Railways has announced to run Vande Bharat and Tejas trains on the New Delhi-Patna route. Let’s know the time schedule.
Many festival special trains will run on this route. On the occasion of the festival of lights Diwali and the festival of folk faith Daala Chhath, people of UP-Bihar living in many cities of the country return to their homes to celebrate the festival. In such a situation, there is a huge crowd in the trains. In view of the crowd in trains during these festivals, Indian Railways is continuously operating special trains. In this sequence, along with Vande Bharat Special and Tejas Festival Special trains between Patna and New Delhi, the Railways has decided to operate a special train from New Delhi to Barauni and Jaynagar via DDU-Patna-Mokma.
CPRO of East Central Railway Saraswati Chandra said that in view of the rush of passengers on the occasion of Diwali and Chhath, many special trains are being operated for their convenience. In this series, 02252/02251 New Delhi-Patna-New Delhi Vande Bharat Special Express and 02250/02249 New Delhi-Patna-New Delhi Tejas Superfast Festival Special will be operated between Patna and New Delhi and 01-01 pair of special trains will also be operated from New Delhi to Barauni and Jaynagar via DDU-Patna-Mokma.

Train No. 02252 New Delhi-Patna Vande Bharat Special Express will leave New Delhi at 08.25 hrs on 30 October, 01, 03 & 06 November, 2024, stopping at Kanpur Central at 13.02 hrs, Prayagraj at 15.05 hrs, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Jn. at 16.50 hrs, Buxar at 18.15 hrs and Ara at 19.08 hrs and will reach Patna Jn. at 20.00 hrs on the same day.
In the return journey, train no. 02251 Patna-New Delhi Vande Bharat Special Express will leave Patna at 07.30 hrs on 31 October, 02, 04 & 07 November, 2024, stopping at Ara at 08.05 hrs, Buxar at 08.47 hrs, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Jn. at 10.20 hrs, Prayagraj at 12.10 hrs and Kanpur Central at 14.18 hrs and reach New Delhi at 19.00 hrs on the same day.
> Train No. 02248/02247 New Delhi-Patna-New Delhi Tejas Superfast Festival Special Express
Train No. 02248 New Delhi-Patna Tejas Superfast Festival Special Express will leave New Delhi at 08.25 hrs on 29, 31 October, 02 & 05 November, 2024, stopping at Kanpur Central at 13.12 hrs, Prayagraj at 15.20 hrs, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Jn. at 17.10 hrs, Buxar at 18.35 hrs and Ara at 19.28 hrs and will reach Patna Jn. at 20.30 hrs on the same day.
In the return journey, Train No. 02247 Patna-New Delhi Tejas Superfast Festival Special Express will leave Patna at 07.30 hrs on 30 October, 01, 03 & 06 November, 2024, stopping at Ara at 08.05 hrs, Buxar at 08.47 hrs, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Jn. at 10.30 hrs, Prayagraj at 12.30 hrs and Kanpur Central at 14.38 hrs and reach New Delhi at 19.35 hrs on the same day.
> Train No. 02250/02249 Delhi-Patna-Delhi Superfast Festival Special Express
Train No. 02250 Delhi-Patna Superfast Festival Special Express will leave Delhi at 23.55 on 24th and 31st October, 2024 and reach Govindpuri at 07.15 hrs, Prayagraj at 10.05 hrs and Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay Jn. at 13.25 hrs, Buxar at 14.35 hrs, Ara at 15.23 hrs and Danapur at 15.55 hrs and reach Patna Jn. at 16.40 hrs.
In the return journey, train no. 02249 Patna-Delhi Superfast Festival Special Express will leave Patna on 25 October and 01 November, 2024 at 17.50 hrs from Patna, stopping at Danapur at 18.10 hrs, Ara at 18.45 hrs, Buxar at 19.40 hrs, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay Jn. at 21.30 hrs, Prayagraj at 00.30 hrs and Govindpuri at 03.45 hrs and reach Delhi at 11.00 hrs the next day.
This special will have 01 coach of first AC class, 02-02 coaches of second and third AC class, 04 coaches of third AC economy class, 06 coaches of sleeper class and 04 coaches of general class.

Train No. 04054 New Delhi-Barauni Festival Special will leave New Delhi at 14.20 hrs on 27, 30 October, 02 & 05 November, 2024, stopping at Govindpuri at 21.15 hrs, Prayagraj at 00.15 hrs next day, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay Jn. at 03.25 hrs, Buxar at 04.45 hrs, Ara at 05.45 hrs, Patna Jn. at 06.55 hrs, Mokama at 08.40 hrs and will reach Barauni at 11.00 hrs.
In the return journey, train no. 04053 Barauni-New Delhi Festival Special will leave Barauni at 12.30 hrs on 28 & 31 October, 03 & 06 November, 2024 and reach Mokama at 14.05 hrs, Patna Jn. at 16.00 hrs, Ara at 16.55 hrs, Buxar at 18.20 hrs, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay Jn. at 19.40 hrs, Prayagraj at 23.00 hrs and reach Govindpuri at 02.00 hrs and New Delhi at 09.10 hrs the next day.
This special will have 01 coach of second AC class, 07 coaches of sleeper class and 10 coaches of general class.
