Indian Railways Rules: Do you know that by booking a train ticket in sleeper coach, you can also travel in AC. You might be surprised to hear this, but it can happen. Today we will tell you which is the scheme of Railways, in which you can travel in AC3 even by taking sleeper ticket-
Railway Auto Upgradation Scheme
This facility of Railways is known as Auto Upgradation Scheme. At present, Railways had made this scheme only for its own benefit. This facility was started in order to ensure that no seat in the train remains vacant in the Railways.
Loss due to seat remaining vacant
It is often seen in trains that seats in AC first class and AC second class often remain vacant. These berths are expensive and Railways has to suffer huge losses due to these berths remaining vacant.
The ticket is upgraded
To avoid this loss, Railways had thoughtfully started the Auto Upgrade Scheme. In this, if any berth remains vacant in the upper class, then the tickets of the passengers below that class are upgraded.
Questions asked at the time of booking
At the time of ticket booking, Railways asks whether you want to get auto upgrade on your ticket. If you select yes option then your ticket will be upgraded… otherwise it will not happen. Apart from this, if you do not select any option then it is considered as yes.
How does this system work?
Suppose there are 6 seats vacant in First AC of a train and 3 seats are vacant in Second AC, then the tickets of some passengers of Second AC will be upgraded and they will be put in First AC and the passengers of Third AC will be upgraded in Second AC. Will go. After this, some seats will become vacant in Third AC, in which the waiting list passengers will get place in Third AC.
Vande Bharat sleeper train will run between Agra and Gorakhpur, check route and time table
