India Post GDS Recruitment 2025: Bumper recruitment has been announced for 21413 posts of Gramin Dak Sevaks in 23 circles of the Indian Postal Department across the country.
The process of online application for this recruitment has started from February 10. Interested candidates can apply by visiting the official website indiapostgdsonline.gov.in till 03 March 2025. 3004 vacancies are for Uttar Pradesh Circle. There are 783 vacancies in Bihar, 638 in Chhattisgarh, 1314 in Madhya Pradesh. 10th pass candidates can apply for these posts. There will be no written examination.
Candidates will be selected on the basis of merit. Merit will be made on the basis of marks obtained in 10th. Under this recruitment of Gramin Dak Sevak, Branch Postmaster, Assistant Branch Postmaster, Postal Servant posts will be filled. Corrections can be made in the form between March 6 and March 8, 2025.

Age Limit
– Minimum 18 years and maximum 40 years.
– Five years relaxation in maximum age limit will be given to Scheduled Caste and three years relaxation will be given to OBC category.
Educational Qualification – Must have passed 10th class with Maths and English. Must have knowledge of the local language of the circle for which you are applying.
The candidate should have knowledge of computers. He should also know how to ride a bicycle.
Pay Scale (as per the post)
– Rs 12,000 to Rs 29,380 for BPM.
– Rs.10,000 to Rs.24,470 for ABPM/ Postal Servant.
Selection Process
– Selection will be done by preparing merit list on the basis of online applications submitted by the candidates.
– Candidates having higher educational qualifications will not get any kind of preference. The final selection will be based on the marks obtained in 10th.
Application fee for General and OBC category – Rs 100. There is no fee for SC, ST and women of all categories.
