Now in the past, the Income Tax Department has again issued a tweet saying that those who have not linked their PAN card with Aadhaar should not delay in doing so. The Income Tax Department has said through a tweet that PAN card holders who have not linked their PAN with Aadhaar must do so by March 31, 2023, otherwise their PAN card will become inactive.
In its tweet, the Income Tax Department has said that “According to the Income Tax Act 1961, all PAN card holders who do not fall under the category of exemption should link their PAN with Aadhaar by 31-03-2023. April 1, 2023 PANs not linked with Aadhaar will become inactive.

At present, you can link PAN with Aadhaar by paying penalty.
