Bank e-pay will be attached to the tax of such customers who have migrated from the bank TIN-NSDL website to the new e-filing portal. Only such customers will be given the facility of online payment.
Many banks that have migrated to the new income tax portal are getting the facility of tax payment on the e-filing income tax portal. According to CBDT (Central Board of Direct Taxes), many banks have switched from OLTAS e-payment system of tax to TIN NSDL website. The new direct tax payment system has been named CPC 2.0 – TIN 2.0. Here we are telling you about such banks which have migrated to the new income tax portal. But these banks are not available on NSDL portal for income tax payment.
Banks that have not migrated to the new income tax portal include Axis Bank, Central Bank of India, ICICI Bank, Indian Bank, Karur Vysya Bank, Bank of Maharashtra, Canara Bank, Indian Overseas Bank, Bank of India, Federal Bank and Kotak Mahindra Bank is included.
According to media reports, it was said in a report that the customers of the banks migrating to the new tax portal have been informed by the concerned bank. In the message sent by ICICI Bank to the account holders, it is written that the Income Tax Department has migrated ICICI Bank to the new tax information version 2.0 for direct tax payment.
