Monsoon is expected to return around 15 September, but this time heavy rains are continuing across the country till now. Although there are signs of monsoon slowing down from 8 September, it is likely to leave North India late, as the monsoon also started late here.
Today, the Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for heavy rains in 18 states including Delhi-NCR, while warning of rains with severe storms has been issued in Uttarakhand and Rajasthan. An orange alert has been issued for Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

There is a possibility of good rain in Delhi today and tomorrow, and a yellow alert has also been issued. The maximum temperature is expected to be 34 degrees and the minimum 25 degrees Celsius. Humidity may persist despite the rain, but the winds will provide some relief.
Today, heavy rains are expected in many states including Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Bihar, Haryana, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, Assam, Uttarakhand, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, and Maharashtra, while due to the pressure created in the Arabian Sea, there is a possibility of strong winds and high waves.
