Weather forecast 6 June:The first week of June is about to end, but the heat is at its peak in Jharkhand. The maximum temperature crossed 40 degrees in 14 districts of the state even on Wednesday.
The worst situation is in Palamu (Medininagar) and Garhwa. The mercury was recorded at 43.9 degrees in Garhwa, 43 degrees in Medininagar and 43.2 degrees in Saraikela. People’s life is miserable due to the humidity in the midst of intense heat.
Heat wave to continue for the next four days
According to Abhishek Anand, scientist of Meteorological Department, Ranchi, heat wave will continue in Palamu and the surrounding districts for the next four days. Heat wave alert has been issued for Thursday as well. On the other hand, mercury may rise by three degrees in the southern parts of the state including the capital in the next two days, but there is also a possibility of thunderstorm and rain.

Change in weather in Santhal, Kolhan from 7th to 9th
According to the weather department, the flow of western wind is towards Jharkhand. At the same time, due to the wind coming from the Bay of Bengal from time to time, the weather of the state is constantly changing. This is the reason that sometimes it is very hot and at times there is relief due to clouds and wind. According to the scientists, from 7th to 9th June, except the Santhal districts, the heat will increase in all the districts of the state including the capital, while the change in weather will continue in various areas of Kolhan including Ranchi, except Palamu, Garhwa, Chatra and the western part.
The districts of the state where the maximum temperature was more than 40 degrees on Wednesday include Garhwa, Medininagar, Latehar, Saraikela, Koderma, Ramgarh, Bokaro, Chatra, Gumla, West Singhbhum, Lohardaga, Khunti, Hazaribagh and Jamshedpur.
Storm devastates in Barwadih; roofs of 100 houses blown away.
Storm caused heavy destruction in Barwadih block of Latehar on Wednesday evening. More than 100 houses were damaged in Morwai, Badhaniyaan and Saidup villages. Tile and asbestos roofs were blown away. While several roads were damaged due to the falling of dozens of trees, electricity supply also got disrupted. Mukhiya Ashish Singh of Morwai said that the storm lasted from 3 to 4 in the afternoon.
