A Talking about the weather of the last 24 hours, the maximum temperature between 35 and 37 degree Celsius was recorded in parts of Gujarat, Maharashtra, Telangana and Madhya Pradesh. In the states of northwest and central India, the temperature was three to five degrees Celsius above normal. Whereas, light rain occurred in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura.

Under its influence, there will be light to moderate rains in Jammu-Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgil-Baltistan, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand from the night of 28 February to 2 March.
