IMD Rainfall Alert: IMD has predicted torrential rains in these state for the next two days

IMD Rainfall Alert: Northeast India is going to receive very heavy rains for the next two days. The Meteorological Department has said that a low pressure area is formed over northern Bangladesh, due to which extremely heavy rainfall is expected in Assam, Meghalaya and Tripura for the next two days.

Apart from this, heavy to very heavy rains are expected at isolated places in Kerala and very heavy rains in Lakshadweep during the next 24 hours. Talking about North West India, Uttarakhand, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, East Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, West Rajasthan will receive rain throughout the week.

Out of this, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu Division, Punjab will receive very heavy rain till August 21, Uttarakhand, West Rajasthan for the next seven days, East Uttar Pradesh between August 21-25, West Uttar Pradesh between August 23-25, West Rajasthan between August 24-26.

Talking about western and central India, Madhya Pradesh, Konkan, Goa, Gujarat will also receive heavy rains for the next seven days. Chhattisgarh will receive heavy rains on August 21-25, Vidarbha on August 24-26, Madhya Maharashtra on August 21 and 24-27, Marathwada on August 25, Saurashtra and Kutch on August 21, 26 and 27. Very heavy rain warnings have been issued for Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh on August 24 and 25, Vidarbha on August 25, Gujarat, Konkan, Goa on August 24-26, Madhya Maharashtra on August 25 and 26.

The weather department has forecast for eastern and northeastern India that there is a heavy rain alert in Sub Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh on 21-23 August, Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, Odisha on 21-25 August, Bihar on 21-24 August, Andaman and Nicobar on 24 August, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura on 21 to 26 August. Apart from this, heavy rains have been predicted in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Rayalaseema, South Interior Karnataka of southern India on 21 August, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam on 21 and 22 August, Telangana on 21 and 24 August, Kerala and Mahe, Karnataka on 21 and 25 August.
