There is an alert of heavy rain on May 24 and 25 in Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, North Rajasthan. Apart from this, there will be heavy rains in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Northeast Rajasthan on May 24.

IMD scientist RK Jenamani said, “The heat wave has ended today across India. From today the temperature will decrease and it will be cloudy. We have issued an orange alert for hailstorm, thunderstorm and rain in Rajasthan, Punjab, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Chandigarh. There is a possibility of heavy rains in the hilly areas for the next 2-3 days. There are chances of storm in eastern India as well.

On the other hand, on May 25, there is a possibility of moderate to heavy rains in West Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh. At the same time, hailstorm warning has been issued in Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Western Uttar Pradesh and North Rajasthan on May 24 and 25. Hail will fall in Himachal Pradesh on May 24. Strong winds are going to blow in Northwest India on 24 and 25 May.

Talking about Northeast India, light to moderate rain is going to occur in Assam, Meghalaya for the next three days. At the same time, there will be heavy rains in Mizoram, Tripura between May 24 and 26. Talking about East India, it will rain in all Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim for the next three days. Heavy rain alert has been issued in Bihar on 24 and 25 May. Apart from this, hailstorm will occur in Jharkhand on May 24-25, Sikkim on May 24.

Talking about the states of South India, it will rain for two days in Kerala and Mahe. There is an alert of heavy rain in Kerala on 24 May. On the other hand, talking about the temperature of the previous day, the maximum temperature was recorded between 42-45 degrees in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Vidarbha etc. While the rest of the place the maximum temperature was around 40 degree Celsius. Heatwave conditions were observed at some places in Delhi, Northeast MP and Southwest UP.
