There are chances of rain in Uttarakhand weather forecast from January 17 and 18. In such a situation, people are expected to get relief from dry winter. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert on dense fog. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert of dense fog and cold day for Tuesday in Haridwar and Udham Singh Nagar districts.

At the same time, light to moderate fog is expected in Dehradun, Pauri and Nainital districts. Meteorological Director Dr. Bikram Singh said that on January 17 and 18, there may be light rain in Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, Chamoli, Bageshwar and Pithoragarh and snowfall in areas at altitude above three thousand meters.

On the other hand, in Dehradun there was some relief from the cold due to sunshine during the day on Monday. The maximum temperature was recorded at 21.8 degrees Celsius. However, the chill persists at night. In many plain cities of Uttarakhand, people are facing many problems due to fog. The speed of vehicles has also reduced.
