IMD Rainfall Alert: Tremendous havoc of pollution is being seen in the national capital Delhi and its adjoining areas. The AQI level in Delhi has reached a very serious level, causing irritation in the eyes and difficulty in breathing.

Apart from Delhi, the air is also quite polluted in areas like Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurugram etc. There is no hope of getting relief from pollution in these cities soon. However, it is raining heavily in South India these days. The Meteorological Department has said that there is going to be heavy rain in the South Peninsula between November 5 and 8. There will be heavy rain in Kerala on 5th and 6th November and in Tamil Nadu on 5th November.

Talking about the weather in the last 24 hours, there was heavy to very heavy rain in Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Apart from this, heavy rainfall was recorded in Arunachal Pradesh and Rayalaseema. Regarding the weather forecast for the next five days, the Meteorological Department has said that some states of South India will see rain for five days. Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam, Coastal Karnataka will receive light to moderate rain on November 5.

There will be heavy rain in Kerala and Mahe from November 5 to 9, and in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal between November 5 to 8. Apart from this, Rayalaseema and South Interior Karnataka are going to receive heavy rains on November 5 and 6.

At the same time, a forecast of light to moderate rain has been issued in Andaman and Nicobar for the next seven days. The weather patterns of the western Himalayan region will change from the night of November 7. A new Western Disturbance alert has been issued. Due to this, there will be rain and snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan between November 7 and 9. At the same time, there may be light rain and snowfall in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand on November 8 and 9.
