According to the latest IMD report, till June 13, Kerala, Lakshadweep, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh are going to receive heavy rains for the next five days. Apart from this, rain and thundershowers are also very likely over Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Meghalaya and Assam. This change in weather is happening due to the arrival of monsoon.
Heat wave havoc in UP-Bihar
At the same time, in most areas of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal, the mercury will remain at its peak for a few days. People will have to face heat wave. In its forecast, the IMD has said that the heat wave will continue till June 13. After this, improvement in the situation can be seen. It is believed that by June 14, monsoon may arrive in these areas. Under its effect, it will rain and people will get relief from the scorching heat.
Monsoon will enter Sikkim on Saturday
Monsoon is about to knock on Saturday in the Himalayan state of Sikkim, which is suffering from severe heat, which will give a lot of relief to the people. Dr Gopi Nath Raha, a meteorologist from Gangtok said, “Monsoon is expected to set in soon. It entered Kerala on Thursday. Within the next 48 hours it will reach northeast India and later Sikkim. It will start raining on Saturday and the temperature will come down.”
