A new western disturbance may change the weather pattern in the coming days. IMD predicts that there may be rain in the Himalayan region from 10 to 12 February. Due to this, the weather may change from Delhi, UP to Punjab, Rajasthan, Bihar and Jharkhand. During this time, there is a possibility of strong winds and heavy rain.
Weather conditions in the country
According to the Meteorological Department, a cyclonic wind area is formed over southern Rajasthan and eastern Bangladesh. Due to this, a strong storm is expected. Heavy rains with thunderstorms are expected in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya in the coming days. Apart from this, there is also a possibility of strong winds here.
Heavy rain likely in eight states
Heavy rains with strong winds are expected in eight states in the next few days. According to the weather department forecast, a cyclonic wind area is forming in the northeastern states. Heavy rains are occurring in these states. There is also a possibility of snowfall in Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh.
Prediction of lightning strike
The Meteorological Department said that heavy rains are likely to continue in Darjeeling, Sikkim, Mizoram, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Nagaland and Meghalaya of West Bengal from February 11 to 15. Lightning has also been predicted in these states.
