IMD Rain Alert: Big update on weather…Warning of heavy rain in this state for many days

Weather latest Update: Once again, the weather in Punjab may deteriorate. According to the Meteorological Department, due to the activation of the Western Disturbance, there is a possibility of rain at some places in Punjab from January 31 to February 3.

This will provide relief from dense fog and cold wave. However, as per the current weather forecast, there is no possibility of rain in Ludhiana and Chandigarh from January 31 to February 3. The weather will remain mostly cloudy and partly sunny during these days, with daytime temperatures expected to range between 24-26 degrees Celsius and 9-13 degrees Celsius at night.

Along with this, the weather in the capital Delhi and NCR has suddenly changed. The harsh winter, cold wave and dense fog have almost ended. Now the scorching sun is becoming more intense in the capital, due to which the heat like March is being felt in January itself.

According to the Meteorological Department, this year’s winter days have not been as cold as expected, and now the temperature is going above normal. The cold that usually occurs in January was less this time, and now the temperature is rising rapidly due to the strong sunlight during the day.

Along with this, the Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for several districts of Punjab today regarding dense fog and cold wave. Due to dense fog in Amritsar, Gurdaspur, Tarn Taran, Hoshiarpur, Nawanshahr, Kapurthala, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Fatehgarh Sahib, Rupnagar, Patiala and SAS. Due to dense fog in the city, drivers have been advised to be alert. Along with this, a cold wave warning has also been issued in Pathankot, Gurdaspur, Kapurthala, Jalandhar, Ferozepur, Faridkot and Moga.
