The weather pattern has changed after the rain in Delhi-NCR. According to IMD, snowfall will continue in Jammu-Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh for the next 2 to 3 days. At the same time, there is a possibility of rain in Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi and Rajasthan.
Due to the activation of Western Disturbance in North India, the weather pattern has changed in most of the states of the country. The weather is pleasant with cool winds. According to the Meteorological Department (IMD), there is an alert of snowfall in Jammu-Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh for the next 2 to 3 days. At the same time, there is a possibility of rain in Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi and Rajasthan.

According to weather forecasting agency Skymet, there are two western disturbances, one in the form of a trough in the mid-tropospheric westerly winds moving north of 60 degrees east longitude and 30 degrees north latitude. At the same time, another western disturbance is present in the form of cyclonic circulation over Northern Pakistan and surrounding areas.
Apart from this, an induced cyclonic circulation is over central Pakistan which extends up to 1.5 km above sea level. Whereas jet stream winds with maximum speed of 140 knots are blowing about 12.6 km above mean sea level in North and surrounding central India.

The Meteorological Department in Delhi has predicted rain with thunderstorms on February 20. According to IMD, there may be rain in Delhi between 20 and 21 February. At the same time, from 22nd February the weather will start clearing and the temperature will increase. The minimum temperature of Delhi is likely to remain between 8 to 13 degrees Celsius this entire week and the maximum temperature is likely to remain between 25 to 28 degrees Celsius.

According to weather forecasting agency Skymet, between February 19 and 22, heavy rain and snowfall with thunder and lightning is possible in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand. At the same time, widespread light to moderate rain and snowfall is possible at some places.
At the same time, hailstorm activities may occur at different places in Jammu division and Himachal Pradesh and in Uttarakhand between 20 and 21 February. Apart from this, widespread light to moderate rain with light rain over Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and West Uttar Pradesh between 19 and 21 February, over North Rajasthan on 19 and 20 February and over East Uttar Pradesh and North Madhya Pradesh between 20 and 22 February. Rain is possible.
At the same time, light to moderate rain and snowfall is possible in Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh between 21 and 24 February. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain in Assam and Meghalaya during this period.
