The Meteorological Department has issued forecast of rain and snowfall in many districts from Friday. The weather will be dry on Thursday. Director of Meteorological Center, Dr. Bikram Singh said that the effect of western disturbance is likely to be visible on 22 and 23 December.

IMD Issued Alert
There is a possibility of light rain in Uttarkashi, Chamoli, Rudraprayag, Pithoragarh, Bageshwar on 22nd. At the same time, on December 23, there may be rain in Haridwar, Bageshwar, Pithoragarh, Pauri, Dehradun, Tehri, Rudraprayag, Chamoli, Uttarkashi.
There is a possibility of snowfall in areas with a height of more than three thousand meters in Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, Chamoli, Bageshwar, Pithoragarh on 22 and 23 December.
The temperature of the day also dropped
A decrease in temperature has been recorded in the cities of Uttarakhand even during the day. While the day temperature in Doon was above 23 degrees, on Wednesday it was recorded at 21.8 degrees. The minimum temperature was 4.4 in Pantnagar, 4.5 in Mukteshwar and 5.4 in New Tehri.
