IMD issued heavy rain alert : Rain alert issued after snowfall, read IMD’s warning regarding weather

Changing weather

The 29 days of February are almost over. Due to strong sunlight during the day, heat is being felt, while the temperature is falling in the morning and evening. After fresh snowfall in the hilly areas, there is an alert of rain in the plains. The Indian Meteorological Department has issued a warning regarding rain.

Rain alert issued

The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of rain in the states including Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. And on February 24, a fresh western disturbance will show its effect. Due to this, rain activities may start again in the western Himalayan region.

IMD in North East India has predicted rain in Arunachal Pradesh during February 23 and for the next 2-3 days. There is a possibility of rain in Assam and Meghalaya on 23 February. There are also chances of snowfall in the hilly areas. The rain will continue till 25th February.

Western disturbance will show effect

Due to Western Disturbance, the weather of most of the states of the Western Himalayas has changed. While issuing the update, the Meteorological Department (IMD) said that there is a possibility of rain and hailstorm in some areas of North-West India for the next 3 days.

How will the weather be in the next three days?

According to Skymet Weather information, there is a possibility of light rain in the Western Himalayan region and Arunachal Pradesh within the next three days. Snowfall will continue in Arunachal Pradesh till 23 February. Apart from this, snowfall is expected to reduce in the western Himalayan regions.

According to IMD information, rain and hailstorm with strong wind is forecast at many places in North Punjab, North Haryana, parts of Western Uttar Pradesh and many places in Bihar, Gangetic West Bengal, Eastern Uttar Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya.
