Weather Update: While Monsoon has been kind to North Bihar, the southern part is yet to receive heavy rains. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert of extremely heavy and heavy rains in 12 districts of Seemanchal and North Bihar on Wednesday.

However, at present there is no possibility of heavy rains in the districts of South Bihar including the capital Patna. There is a possibility of scattered rain in these areas for the next three to four days. The trough line of Monsoon is currently passing through Patna. Under its effect, there are indications of good rains not in Patna and surrounding areas but in North Bihar.

According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of thunder along with thunder at one or two places in most of the districts of the state on Wednesday. It rained heavily in many districts of North Bihar on Tuesday. On the other hand, due to cloudy weather during the day in Patna, the maximum temperature of 15 districts of the state, including Patna, decreased and 12 districts recorded an increase in temperature. The hottest district of the state was Bhojpur with 37.8 degrees.

Heavy rain warning in these districts

The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of very heavy rain in East Champaran, Kishanganj, Araria, Purnia and Supaul districts on Wednesday. Whereas, there is a possibility of heavy rains in West Champaran, Sitamarhi, Madhubani, Sheohar, Darbhanga, Katihar and Madhepura. It is not raining well in Patna for the last several days. People felt the humid heat on Tuesday. The maximum temperature of Patna was recorded at 35.6 degrees. Drizzle also occurred on Tuesday around 1.30 pm. At the same time, there were clouds in the sky during the day.
