The Meteorological Department has issued a heatwave warning in 11 districts of North and East Bihar on Saturday. There is a possibility of severe weather conditions in the state for the next 72 hours. At present, there is no chance of rain. Heatwave conditions prevailed in 9 cities including Purnia, Motihari, Katihar on Thursday as well.

The Meteorological Department issued a yellow alert for heat wave in 11 districts of the state on Saturday. The districts for which alert has been issued include West Champaran, East Champaran, Madhubani, Araria, Purnia, Katihar, Khagaria, Supaul, Jamui, Banka and Bhagalpur.

Clouds are raining in the desert and most of the districts of Bihar are longing for rain. Due to the indifference of rains in the pre-monsoon, the temperature of the cities of Bihar is rising. Patna’s maximum temperature was 41.9 degrees on Friday. Whereas in Jaisalmer, the mercury was 36.7 degrees. The rain deficit continues even in the monsoon season. If you look at the maximum temperature, most of the cities of Bihar are hotter than the cities of Rajasthan.

How will be the weather in Muzaffarpur?

In the forecast issued by Pusa Agricultural University, the maximum temperature in Muzaffarpur is expected to go up to 42-43 degree Celsius and the minimum temperature is expected to be 25-27 degree for the next five days. During this, westerly wind will blow at a speed of 13 to 15 km. In Muzaffarpur, there may be an outbreak of severe heat for the next 10 days.

How will be the weather in Bhagalpur?

On the other hand, meteorologists in Bhagalpur district believe that the sky will remain clear from June 3 to 7. There is no possibility of any respite from rain right now. During this time western wind can blow. The average wind speed can be 5 to 8 kilometers per hour. Due to this, the increase in temperature is likely to continue.
