The Meteorological Department has changed its forecast for Himachal Pradesh. IMD has now predicted light rain or snowfall in the high altitude areas of Lahaul-Spiti and Chamba, Kangra, Kullu districts on November 23. After this, the weather will remain mainly dry in the rest of Himachal for the next 7 days. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for dense fog in different parts of the state on November 23 and 24.

According to meteorologists, minimum and maximum temperatures may drop by about 2 degrees Celsius in some parts of Himachal Pradesh during the next 2 days. However, no major change will be seen after this. Dense fog is likely to prevail in many parts of the reservoir areas of Bhakra Dam (Bilaspur), Sundarnagar (Mandi) in the morning and late night during 23 and 24 November.

There is a possibility of light to moderate fog in some parts of the reservoir area of ​​Bhakra Dam (Bilaspur), Sundarnagar (Mandi) during the morning and late night of 21 and 22 November. Not only this, there is a possibility of dense fog in some parts of Himachal Pradesh from late night of 23 November to the morning of 25 November. At present, there is severe cold in the tribal district Lahaul-Spiti of Himachal. The situation is such that the water of rivers and streams has started freezing.
