IMD Weather Update: People of the country are currently enjoying two types of weather. On one hand, the atmosphere has become cold due to rain and snowfall from Kashmir to Kedarnath.
On the other hand, the temperature in the plains including Rajasthan has increased like June-July in the month of March itself. The heat is increasing due to the continuous increase in temperature in the plains. Heat wave warning has also been issued before time from Gujarat to West and Central India.
The weather is fluctuating in many parts of the country. Heavy snowfall and rain has been predicted in hilly areas including Kashmir and North India. Western disturbance is also developing from today while the temperature has started rising in the plains of North West and Central India including Rajasthan and Gujarat.
The maximum temperature in different parts of Gujarat and Rajasthan has reached 40 to 42 degree Celsius, whereas in different areas of Orissa, Konkan and Goa, the maximum temperature is being recorded between 38 to 40 degree Celsius. Not only this, heatwaves have also started blowing in many areas due to the heat.
Snowfall due to rain
In Uttarakhand, Kedarnath and surrounding areas are experiencing snowfall due to rain, while in Kashmir, rain and snowfall has been forecast in areas including Gulmarg and Rajdhan Pass till Wednesday. Not only this, avalanches are continuing in Himachal Pradesh, while the weather is going to change in Delhi from tomorrow.
People are getting troubled by the scorching sun throughout the day. The temperature has been recorded 6 degrees above normal. However, light rain is expected with the temperature falling from tomorrow. Due to which Delhiites may get relief from the heat. The minimum temperature can be recorded up to 15 degrees Celsius.
According to the Meteorological Department, there will be clouds with light fog on Wednesday morning. Along with this, the wind can blow at a speed of 20 to 30 kilometers per hour. The maximum temperature is expected to be 34 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature is expected to be 18 degrees Celsius. The reason for light rain between March 15 is believed to be western disturbance and change in wind speed.
The effect of western disturbance will be seen
The race of storm and rain is also about to begin. The Meteorological Department has predicted that the weather pattern can change completely in many parts of the country in the next 48 hours. Heavy rain warning has been issued in many parts of the country. Rain has been going on in Kerala, Sikkim, Assam and Arunachal Pradesh for the last two days, while snowfall is also being recorded along with rain in Jammu and Kashmir.
Rain in some areas due to cyclonic circulation
Due to cyclonic circulation in Rajasthan, there is a possibility of rain in some areas. Actually, a cyclonic circulation has formed over northwest Rajasthan. Due to which the mild effect of western disturbance will be seen in Rajasthan as well. The sky will remain partly cloudy from 13 to 15 March.
Hot wind will blow along with bright sunshine
Temperatures in Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh are predicted to reach 35 to 40 degrees Celsius. Apart from this, warnings of snowfall and rain have been issued in Jammu and Kashmir, Muzaffarabad, Uttarakhand and Himachal.
Delhi will be partly cloudy while Uttar Pradesh will have hot winds with bright sunshine. Bihar, Jharkhand will also see hot winds with bright sunshine. Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu may receive rain while the temperature will also rise in Goa.
