In the mountainous, plains and coastal areas of the country, there are chances of rain amid the scorching heat. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) estimates that there may be drizzle in some areas of Delhi-NCR on Tuesday.
On the other hand, on March 17 or 18, rain with thunder is possible in Delhi and its surrounding areas. The Meteorological Department estimates that the minimum temperature in Delhi this week could go up to 16 and the maximum temperature could go up to 35 degrees Celsius. Rain possible in four states as well
According to the Meteorological Department, rain is possible in some areas of southern Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra’s Vidarbha, Marathwada, Telangana and northern Karnataka this week. The storm is expected to bring rains between March 16 and March 22 over the southern peninsula along with most areas of the country. It is estimated that there may be rain with thunder.
There will be unseasonal rains in Maharashtra

Wind speed reaching 34 to 40 kmph is likely over the sub-Himalayan areas of West Bengal, Sikkim and North India.

assessment of IMD, the maximum temperature in North West India may go up by two to three degrees Celsius in the next three days. Similarly, in central India, the maximum temperature can rise up to two degrees Celsius. Wind will blow with light rain in many states of the country, but there will be no significant difference in the movement of mercury.
Uttar Pradesh: Severe heatwave next week
The Meteorological Department has predicted that there may be light rains in the Purvanchal areas of Uttar Pradesh this week. At the same time, a rain alert has been issued in western UP. There is a possibility of rain in western UP. Strong wind has been predicted in many areas of the state. Next week, heat waves can create problems in many cities here.
Uttarakhand: According to the Yellow Alert
Meteorological Department in five districts, there may be rain for a few days this week and light snow at higher altitude places. Yellow alert has been issued in view of possibility of light rain and snowfall in five districts of Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, Chamoli, Bageshwar, and Pithoragarh. Weather will remain dry in Dehradun, Udham Singh Nagar, Nainital.
Jharkhand: Rain with thunder and lightning
According to IMD’s Ranchi-based weather station, rain with thunder is possible in many areas including Palamu, Garhwa, Latehar, Lohardaga and Koderma in the northwest of the state.Hail may also fall at some places.Even after changing the weather pattern, there is little hope for the people to get relief from the heat as the trend of temperature will continue to rise.
