Rain Alert: Due to western disturbance and cyclonic circulation, there is a period of rain and snowfall from Delhi, Rajasthan to Arunachal Pradesh-Himachal Pradesh. The Meteorological Department has also issued an alert.

Meteorologist Soma Rai said that due to seasonal activities, the temperature in North India may fall by one or two degrees. However, there is a possibility of increase in temperature after this. In the past few days, there was a change in the weather due to two western disturbances. Due to this, light rain was recorded in many areas including Delhi. Cold also increased in many states.

Western disturbance is going to be active again

The Meteorological Department has predicted that another Western Disturbance will become active on 8 February. Due to this, the weather will change in many states of North India and North West India including Delhi, UP, Rajasthan. He said that a turf has formed over Pakistan which is moving towards the east. Due to this, seasonal activity will increase in India. Due to Western Disturbance, snowfall may continue in the North-Western Himalayas from 8 to 12 or 13th. In the next few hours, there may be torrential rain with some thunderstorms in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam.

Winter season continues in Rajasthan

There is severe cold in many districts of Rajasthan. The period of cold continues in many parts of Rajasthan. Yesterday, i.e. on Thursday, cold wave swept many areas of Jaipur and Kota. According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature fell during this period. 2.8 degrees Celsius was recorded in Fatehpur of Sikar district of the state. The minimum temperature in Nagaur and Lunkaransar was 3.8 degrees, in Karauli it was 4.4 degrees, in Dausa it was 5.1 degrees and in Sangaria it was 5.2 degrees. The minimum temperature was recorded below 10 degrees at many places across the state.

Minimum temperature in Delhi below double digit

Due to western disturbance, the minimum temperature in the country’s capital Delhi was recorded at 8.2 degrees Celsius on Thursday, which is 1.2 degrees less than the average temperature of this season. Earlier, the minimum temperature of Delhi was being recorded above double digits. The Meteorological Department estimates that due to the activation of the new western disturbance, strong winds may blow in Delhi between 8 and 12 February. Apart from this, there is also a possibility of rain. Dry weather may occur once again from February 13.
