Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) is going to recruit a large number of youth for the youth preparing for government jobs. IGNOU has sought applications for recruitment to the posts of Junior Assistant Typist for 12th pass applicants.
The last date for submission of application has been fixed as 20 April 2023. The application can be made through online mode. After the examination, the selected candidate will get a salary of up to Rs 63,200.
Typing is essential for applying for 200 posts
Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has issued a notification to fill 200 posts of Junior Assistant Typist. 12th pass applicants can apply through National Testing Agency. English typing speed of 40 words per minute and Hindi typing speed of 35 words per minute is mandatory for the selected candidates. The age of the applicant should not exceed 27 years. Whereas, for the reserved classes, relaxation is fixed according to the reservation fixed in the age limit.
Salary, Application Fee and Recruitment Process
IGNOU has also fixed the application fee. Applicants of general category, OBC and EWS category will have to pay a fee of Rs 1,000. Whereas, the application fee for SC, ST and women applicants will be Rs 600. The recruitment process for Junior Assistant Typist posts will be through Computer Based CBT. Candidates selected for Junior Assistant Typist posts will get salary ranging from Rs 19,900 to Rs 63,200 per month.
