The Income Tax Department usually processes your refund within 25 days to 60 days. If your refund has not come even after the passage of time, then there is no need to panic. If you want, you can send the request for reprocessing your refund to the Income Tax Department. Before getting refund, make sure to check whether your bank account is already valid or not. If everything is correct then you can apply for service request by visiting the e-filing portal.

Don’t forget to check this before service request
If you want to request for re-issue of your refund, then first check whether your refund is showing Reject on TIN-NSDL website or not. For this you can also track your refund. If your refund status is not showing or the reason for rejecting the refund is not given on the e-filing website, then you will not be able to place a request for re-issuance of your refund. In such a situation, you can register your complaint through the e-filing portal e-Nivaran tab.
