Things to keep in mind before downloading APAAR ID
Many people associate APAAR ID with Aadhar card, but this is not true. The full form of APAAR ID is Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry. This is a digital ID in which all the academic records of the students will be present. Whatever the children achieve in their educational life will be saved in the APAAR ID.
How to download APAAR ID online
If you have applied for Apaar ID, it will be ready in a stipulated time. To download Apaar ID, follow-
- Login to the Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) website.
- Go to the dashboard displayed on the screen.
- There you will find the option to download Apaar Card, click on it.
- Select the Download or Print the Card option.
How to download APAAR ID from DigiLocker
If you have DigiLocker app in your smartphone then APAAR card can be downloaded without visiting ABC website.
- Open your DigiLocker account.
- Go to search and find education. Keep in mind that you have to write education in English.
- After that select Academic Bank of Credits.
- Select Create APAAR/ABC ID.
- Select your school or university and click on Generate Apaar I.
- You can download it by finding your ID in the documents section.
APAAR ID vs Aadhar ID, what is the difference between the two
Many people are confused about the difference between Apaar ID and Aadhaar ID. Apaar ID is mainly for students, while Aadhaar card is a universal identity number issued to all Indian citizens. Now it is being seen as a primary proof of identity. Apaar ID is not issued to all citizens. It is issued only to students.
