According to the Meteorological Department, a cyclonic circulation is formed over the lower tropospheric levels of Central Maharashtra and its surrounding areas. Its effect is that there will be a possibility of strong winds and heavy rains for the next few days. Due to the cyclone, heavy rains may occur in states like Maharashtra, Telangana, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh and Karnataka on April 5. Along with this, there is also an alert of hailstorm.

Apart from this, there is a heatwave alert in western Rajasthan during 5 to 7 April, where the temperature can cross 40 degrees Celsius. The Meteorological Department also said that there is a possibility of an increase of 3-5 degrees Celsius in North-West India, which is likely to increase the heat. At the same time, there may be a drop of 2-4 degrees Celsius in Central India and Maharashtra, but after this the temperature may increase by 2-4 degrees Celsius during the next 4 days.
