Heavy Rain Alert: The weather is going to change once again in North India. A yellow alert has been issued for heavy rain and lightning in many districts of Uttarakhand. In Delhi, the temperature reached 37.9 degrees amid bright sunshine and humidity.
The weather is ready to change once again in entire North India including Uttarakhand. There is a possibility of thunder, rain and lightning in the state from Wednesday. Yellow alert has been issued for Uttarkashi, Chamoli, Pithoragarh, Bageshwar, Tehri, Rudraprayag and Dehradun districts. Apart from this, there is a possibility of rain in some other parts including Bihar and UP.
According to Dr. Bikram Singh, Director of the Meteorological Center in Dehradun, this period of weather change starting from today can continue for the next four days. The recent snowfall and rain brought cold back to the state, but now bright sunshine and humidity are being felt again. The rain can once again bring down the temperature.
The mood of the weather will change in North India
Other states of North India like Delhi, UP, Rajasthan, Bihar and Jharkhand have also been experiencing storms and rain for the past few days. The Meteorological Department has said that there is a possibility of bad weather, landslides, hailstorms and incidents like falling of stones from rocky slopes in Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh between 18 and 20 April. The reason behind this is said to be a new western disturbance, whose effect will be seen in Uttarakhand, Delhi and western Rajasthan apart from Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh and Himachal Pradesh.
Heat wave in the capital Delhi
The heat of April has come into full swing in Delhi. On Tuesday, the day started with mild heat, but as the day progressed, the scorching sun made us sweat. The effect of humidity and heat was felt throughout the day in the capital. On Tuesday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 37.9 degrees Celsius, which was 1.8 degrees above normal. The minimum temperature was recorded at 24 degrees Celsius, which was 3 degrees above normal.
