Currently, HDFC Bank, the country’s largest private sector lender, is offering FD rates of up to 7.9 per cent on fixed deposits of less than Rs 3 crore, depending on the age of the depositor and tenure. ICICI Bank is offering up to 7.8 per cent, while Axis Bank is offering up to 7.75 per cent. HDFC Bank latest interest rates on fixed deposits less than Rs 3 crore (per annum):

  • 7 to 14 days: 3.00 per cent for general public; 3.50 per cent for senior citizens
  • 15 to 29 days: 3.00 per cent for general public; 3.50 per cent for senior citizens
  • 30 to 45 days: 3.50 per cent for general public; 4.00 per cent for senior citizens
