The country’s largest private sector bank HDFC Bank has given a gift to its crores of customers. After the RBI’s monetary policy meeting, HDFC Bank has increased the interest rates on Fixed Deposit. The bank is offering FDs from 7 days to 10 years. The bank has increased the interest rate on FDs by 20 basis points i.e. 0.20 percent. This increase has been made on FDs of only a few periods. These new rates have been implemented from today, June 10, 2024.
HDFC Bank added new FD
The bank has added a new period option for FDs of 2 years to 5 years. HDFC Bank has added FDs with periods of 2 years 11 months 1 day to 3 years, 3 years 1 day to 4 years 7 months, 4 years 7 months to 55 months, 4 years 7 months 1 day to less than 5 years. On this, the bank is offering 7.70 percent interest to senior citizens.
