The country’s largest private lender – HDFC Bank is constantly upgrading the system to improve the user experience of its customers. Due to this, its debit, credit and prepaid card services will be disrupted for some time. The bank itself has informed its customers about this by sending an email.
When will HDFC Bank services be disrupted?
According to HDFC Bank, its debit, credit and prepaid card services will be affected on June 4 and June 6. The bank will upgrade debit, credit and prepaid card services on June 4 (Tuesday). This will affect all ATM withdrawals, POS, online and Netsafe transactions. This system upgrade will run from 12:30 am to 2:30 am.
On June 6, HDFC Bank will also upgrade the system related to debit, credit and prepaid cards. This will affect all online transactions for RuPay and Netsafe. This system upgrade will also run from 12:30 am to 2:30 am.

What did HDFC Bank say?
HDFC Bank’s debit, credit and prepaid card transactions will be temporarily down during the system upgrade on both days. The bank has appealed to its customers to plan their card payments before or after the upgrade time so that they do not face any inconvenience.
HDFC Bank has also issued helpline number 1800 1600 / 1800 2600 to complain about any payment related problem. This number is for India. Customers living abroad can call 022-61606160 for any help.
Ongoing system upgrades
Earlier, HDFC Bank had also upgraded its system on 22 and 25 May. During that time, the bank’s net banking and mobile banking services were affected. Also, card services were also affected. The bank had informed the customers about that scheduled maintenance through SMS.
