Jalandhar- Guru Gobind Singh’s birth anniversary will be celebrated with devotion across the country on January 6. In this regard, a half-day holiday has been announced in Jalandhar district on Thursday, January 2, 2025.
Keeping in mind the religious sentiments of the people, DC Dr. Himanshu Agarwal has announced a half-day holiday on January 2 in all government and non-government schools and colleges falling within the limits of Jalandhar Municipal Corporation in view of the Nagar Kirtan being organized by various religious organizations on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji.
Let us tell you that a half-day holiday was declared on January 2nd due to the Nagar Kirtan, which will begin from Gurdwara Diwan Asthan Central Town, dedicated to the birth anniversary of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji.
On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Maharaj Ji, a Nagar Kirtan will be organized from Central Town, Jalandhar on Thursday, January 2. In this regard, Deputy Commissioner Jalandhar Himanshu Agarwal has announced a half-day holiday in all government and private schools and colleges of the district.
