Ration Card Rules For LPG Cylinder: The Government of India runs many types of schemes for the people of the country. People from different sections of the country get the benefit of the government’s scheme.

The government brings most of the schemes keeping in mind the interests of the poor and needy people of the country. Even today there are many people who are not able to arrange even two meals a day.

The government provides ration to these people at a low price. For this, the state governments of different states of India issue ration cards. Ration card holders not only get the facility of ration at a low price. But other benefits are also given by the government. Now in this state, gas cylinders will be given to ration card holders for just Rs 450. The government has changed the rules.

Cheap cylinders for ration card holders in Rajasthan

Ration card holders are given ration at a low price under the National Food Security Act i.e. NFSA. But now under NFSA, the government will provide gas cylinders to ration card holders at a very low price. The government will now provide gas cylinders to ration card holders for just Rs 450.

Earlier, the Rajasthan government used to give gas cylinders for Rs 450 only to the beneficiaries availing benefits under the Ujjwala scheme. But now the government is also giving this benefit to ration card holders in the state. But for this, ration card holders will have to link their ration card with LPG ID. Only then will they get a chance to avail this benefit.

68 lakh families will benefit

Currently, more than 1,07,35000 families in Rajasthan are included in the list of National Food Security Act. Out of these, 37 lakh families are already being given benefits under BPL and Ujjwala Yojana. So now the remaining 68 lakh families will get the benefit.

E-KYC of ration card is mandatory

To avail the benefits of this government scheme, ration card holders need to complete the e-KYC process. That is, they will not only have to get LPG ID seeded in the ration card. But they will also have to get their Aadhaar card linked again. Only then will they be able to avail the benefits of the scheme.
