There are many holidays for government employees and banks in March 2025, including three days of continuous holidays on Holi and a holiday on Rangpanchami in Ujjain. During Holi, there will be a holiday on Friday, March 14, followed by Saturday, March 15 and Sunday, March 16. Banks will have holidays on Sundays on March 9, 16, 23, and 30, and Saturday holidays on March 8, 22. Ujjain district will be given a holiday on March 19 on the occasion of Rangpanchami.
March Holidays 2025: The month of March has brought good news, as this month there are a lot of government holidays in the state. There are many holidays in government departments as well as banks, so that government officials and employees can go on a trip while enjoying the festivals. By using the holidays properly this month, they can spend quality time with their family and friends. Especially in this month, three consecutive days of holidays are also available, which is a great opportunity to plan a trip.
3 days continuous holiday on Holi
On the occasion of the colorful festival of Holi in March, government employees are getting a special holiday. Holi holiday is on Friday, March 14, followed by Saturday, March 15 and Sunday, March 16, meaning three consecutive days of holiday are being given.
There are many holidays in banks as well (Bank Holidays)
Banking services have also been given special attention this month. All banks in the state will remain closed on 9, 16, 23 and 30 March due to Sunday. Apart from this, bank employees will get second and fourth Saturday holidays on 8 and 22 March respectively. Banks will also remain closed on Holi on 14 March and some bank branches will remain closed on Eid-ul-Fitr on 31 March, although online services will continue.
New orders for holiday in Ujjain too
Ujjain Collector Neeraj Singh has also issued new orders regarding holidays for the officers and employees of the district. Under this, a holiday will be given on March 19 on the occasion of Rangpanchami in Ujjain, Ghatia, Nagda and Badnagar tehsils, so that employees and officers can avail the holiday on this day as well.
