7th Pay Commission : Karnataka state employees have announced to go on strike due to non-implementation of 7th Pay Commission. If the state government does not accept the demands of the employees union by March 1, then the employees can go on strike.
According to the employees, they have given time till March 1, 2023 to the government, if their demands are not accepted till then, then the government employees will go on strike from March 1 in the state.
Will go on strike from March 1
Union president C S Shadakshari said all government employees have decided not to report for duty from March 1 and launch a protest across the state. However, the state government has been given time till March 1. He said that the Chief Minister of Karnataka State Basavaraj Bommai is not fulfilling his responsibility towards the government employees. Many employees are angry due to CM Bommai not implementing the 7th Pay Commission.

Shadakshari told that government employees will not go to work in schools, colleges and hospitals and other institutions and will protest in this manner. He further said that the protest would be called off only when the government implements the recommendations of the Seventh Pay Commission in the state. or pass orders for its implementation. Otherwise the workers will continue their agitation.
