Nalanda- 600 officers and about 9,400 employees serving in the district will have to submit their assets details online by January 31. This step has been taken to ensure transparency in corruption and sources of income in the district. The treasury department has asked for online details for this.
The main objective of this decision is to get accurate information about the assets and sources of income of government employees, so that any kind of irregularity or corruption can be prevented. If any employee or officer fails to submit his assets details within the stipulated time limit, his salary will be temporarily withheld.
This order will have to be followed by all government employees of the district, including officers and employees. However, the fourth category employees have not been included in this process. This means that the employees of the fourth category will not be required to give the details of the assets, but the employees of all other categories will have to complete this process.
The process will be online
The process of giving details of assets will be completely online and employees will have to visit the Treasury Department website and enter details of all their assets and sources of income. The online system will make it easy to check and evaluate the details of officers and employees, which will help the administration maintain transparency and confidentiality.
Otherwise, the salary will be stopped.
Strict action will be taken against those employees who will not be able to submit their property details by January 31. Apart from this, the salaries will also be stopped temporarily.
